[Miata] how to unwire DRL?

The PO was wrong and someone screwed with the car. In the USA there are no DRLs in the Miatas. Canada has them but I'm pretty sure they don't turn on the tail lights.

Where are you located? I don't think cars in the US had DRLs as an option. I know my 10AE doesn't have them.

As soon as ignition is turned on, all the lights on my 10AE also turn on - just as though the headlight switch was flipped on (headlights, tailights, dashboard, etc). I would like to disconnect this.

The PO said the car was like this from day one.
Someone mentioned a green module under the dash area, but I have not found it.

I thought DRL only turned on headlights; not tailights, etc.

    thanks,
