[Miata] Need a BIG help from anyone in the Cincinnati area--carstorage

The problem is that the tags are expired. I moved from Ohio to Kentucky in March, and, as such, let my Kentucky tags expire. When the car started acting up, I put off getting Ohio tags for it, as I couldn't really trust having the car running (you have to have an out of state car inspected in order to get it tagged). The reason the car is going to be towed is because of the tags.
Like I said before, I can't get the car tagged unless it's running. I don't know how many more times the car will run in its current state without the engine seizing up, so that makes getting the car over for inspection kind of dicey.
I guess if worse came to absolute worse, I can try to jump start it (it started up OK last time I tried), and take it over and hope they're fooled long enough to give it an "a-ok" to give me temp tags. Unfortunately, I'm short on cash, and really don't know what to do here.

Sorry I can't help you since I live a distance away but I'm confused. You pay rent for an apartment, it includes parking?? The car runs and has tags?? How can they threaten towing??

Hey all!
As some of you all may know, I've been out of town for the last few weeks getting married, going on a honeymoon, and spending a week with the in-laws. Christy and I finally made it back to Ohio after a 15hr drive from Texas about an hour or two ago.
...Which brings me to the "help" issue.
My Miata has been laid up for awhile because of a bad oil pump. It hasn't caused any damage to the engine yet that I can tell, but I stopped driving it a month or two ago to be safe (since I hadn't gotten proper tires on it anyway). Long story short, I came home to find a "FINAL WARNING" sticker on my car saying that it is going to be towed and impounded--at my expense. When, I don't know. What I need, unfortunately, is a place to store the car until I can get it repaired. I am prepared to work out rental agreements if you would prefer, as I do not know how long the car will need to remain in place. The car does not leak oil or any fluids. I should be able to jump-start it, so towing should not be necessary but will be taken care of at my expense if needed.
Please contact me as soon as you can. I can be reached either at this email address or at my cellphone: 859-468-4486. The car is located in the McCauly Crossing apartment complex in Sharonville, which is right off of Fields Ertel Road just east of Reed Hartman Highway.
Thank you for ANY help you can provide!
