[Miata] Electrical Relay Mounting

I just installed a brake controller on my Tundra to trailer my Miata to the track. I needed to mount a 20-amp relay on the Hot (+) lead from the battery. I mounted it to the chassis near the battery, but I was wondering if it would be better to mount it using a rubber vibration isolator? I know in the Miata engine bay next to nothing is hard mounted. Any thoughts on this?
