Damn straight

If the guy had refused to sell to a Black or a Mexican or a some other ethnic group the friggin ACLU would be screaming racism etc etc but because the guy refused to sell to a soldier and then made a crack about what the guy is doing no "watch dog" group is going to stand up and take offense.

Well I take offense that some one makes this country their home, makes a living here and then does what he did.

Sure they have the right to do business with whoever they want, but they just didn't need to follow up with the political statement. But based on the owner info that was found it's not surprising.

This statement I don't understand "unlike your country where you've had it
    taken away", care to elaborate?

Apart from the "troops" getting the sympathy and outrage vote, I also think
a company has a right to choose who it does business with for whatever
    reasons it so chooses? No?

Yes, we DO have that freedom which INCLUDES the right to speak out in
rebuttal to "speech" with which we don't agree. BTW, we STILL have the
right to defend ourselves, unlike your country where you've had it taken
    away.
