You 40 dollar spring perches are worth what you pay for them.  I wouldn't put them on my car, but your opinion may vary on it.

As for the wheels.  I'd stick with the 16 or even do 15" wheels.  the smaller sidewall of the 17 makes the ride harsher and it's tough on the rims unless you live in a place with zero potholes.

  I am looking at doing some suspension upgrades and I have a couple of questions. The shocks are shot on my 2001 with 46,000 on it so I am thinking KYB adjustables but the suspension is also a littel high. Have any of you used the adjustable ride height spring perches that are for sale on Ebay for around $40.00? I am also considering going to 17" wheels and tires, I am better off staying with 16"? and finally FM sway bars.
