The FM SS lines made a huge difference on my car, and everybody who drives it comments on how firm the brake pedal is. They are definitely worth it.

This brings up a point. I've basically thought the same thing, but this will be the first vehicle that will (I hope!) see
100k. Now what I see is the cold doing those in. If plastic gets brittle in these single and negative digits, then I'd think so
would rubber, no? So I worry about stomping on the brakes in a winter panic stop and blowing the lines into a hundred rubber
bands...
Any basis for this worry? Otherwise, I find the brakes plenty responsive and I'll only change to SS when I actually lose
these lines.
