Sway bars will provide a big improvement. You might also want to add a shock tower brace if your car doesn't already have one. It can help the front to "plant" a little better in corners and reduce shaking over rough roads. If you have to choose between the two; go with the sways.

front/rear sway bars.  What's the best value for a mostly street-driven 10AE
that might be used for light autocrossing from time to time?
