[Miata] adjusting emergency handle

Your post doesn't say what year your car is but my 2001 e handle is adjusted at the handle. Very simple (1) phillips screw, pull the cover loose,(1) straight blade screw driver straight down on the adjuster should set it at 5-6 clicks. After you adjust it use it a few times and re-adjust. Push the cover back in place put in the screw and you are done.
