[Miata] Miata performance over the years

Speaking of radar, the best car I ever owned from the ticket-avoidance point-of-view was my 1st-gen RX-7.  It had such a small frontal area, with its radiator mounted at a very shallow angle, that it presented a really tiny radar signature.  I never once got a ticket in that car, and in fact several times I actually saw cops looking in puzzlement at their equipment as I sailed past!
