[Miata] Windshield Getting Replaced -- Any Tips or Gotchas

I was expecting this to cost $500-$600.  But I called a place and the total was about $250.  That surprised me (in a pleasant way).  They, also, are coming to my house to replace it at no additional charge compared to me having to take my car somewhere and drop it off for a couple hours.

I haven't had to replace a Miata windshield, but recently replaced the windshield on our 97 Dodge Intrepid.  That's the same amount of glass as 2 - 2.5 Miata windshields (maybe 3), but only cost $170.00.
   
  So, no, you didn't get the cheapest windshield on the planet.
