[Miata] Windshield Getting Replaced -- Any Tips or Gotchas

How long are the going to wait to get the garage up to temp and more importantly your car up to temp?? If it were me I'd rather have it done in their heated garage or wait until things warm up some what. I would just be concerned about the sealer being to cold to make a seal to the windshield.

The temp right now is about 17F. I talked to the glass people, and they said they bring along portable heaters to get the garage up to a comfortable temperature.
I'm going to call my insurance company tomorrow (State Farm) and see if they cover this with no deductible (my deductible is $250, so it would be a wash if they don't cover it that way).
Thanks for all of the advice!

Depends on your state and your plan. In S.C. the glass coverage is state
mandated no deductible.
Also I would prefer changing the windshield somewhere warm not out in the
cold. What's the temp by you now??
