No, only aftermarket electronics on the car is the alarm.  Still factory stereo, etc.

Even though 50mA might be high, based on the surprising life of the previous battery considering the hard life it led and my experience with the car, I'm inclined to think the battery failed on its own - unless a Westco battery is more susceptible to being degraded over time by dark current than a Mazda "wet" Miata replacement battery (the previous battery that came with the car when I bought it).

I still might yank the alarm since I don't really like it.
