David. I'm very interested if you have any pics of your work?

I have a 30 gal. compressor already (filling up one of my 2 tiny closets) I
looked at getting a "blast from a bucket" kit for the sand blasting

On the brake calipers I was going to disassemble them before all the work.
I worked for a few years as a suspension/brake mechanic, so I have some
experience w/ that part....so the rubber/piston/etc won't be on the caliper
when I do the work.

This is all in my brainstorming phase, as it will be at least 6 months
before I buy a house, (then the toys)

I'm wanting to do this more for the asthetically pleasing part of
things...My biggest concern w/ doing the calipers was I'm unsure as to how
much heat the PC can handle, do you know? I saw a pic of a header that had
been powder coated, but dunno how it looked after being heated up to the
1000 deg. it probably reaches.

How much wt. does the powder add to a set of wheels?

I guess I'm like you, I just like the idea, and think it'd be cool to powder
coat anything in site, ha. could you powder coat the block of an engine
instead of painting it?

Def. am glad that there's someone on here as crazy as me.

I'd love it if you could send me some pics of anything you've PC'd.

THanks
Ben Upton
