[Miata] Powder coating

Okay, so I want to get my valve cover powder coated, but I saw on
Eastwood.com that you can buy a DIY kit of sorts...anyone have any
experiences w/ this?  Curious as to the results I might be able to get out
of such a kit?  I'll probably have to wait until this summer to do anything,
but would love to be able to do it myself...could have myself a new hobby!!
Any tips?  thoughts? fears? etc would be great.

I know that if I had a setup of my own I could do my brake calipers, valve
cover, intake / exhaust manifolds, wheels (if I got bored w/ current
color).  I know it would save cash, time, and best of all, I'd have a new
toy.
