I do think the official count for Dallas was over 400 cars though.

  I seem to recall that the Pocono's Miata convention had over 600 cars. If anyone still has the photo where Reverend Masse (I think that was his name) married us to our cars, we could prove that we had more cars than the Lotus record.

  Two things come to mind.

   

  I have been to Miata events, Pocono, Daytona, Texas, where we had parades of more than 311 Miatas.  I guess no one bothered to get them certified as a World Record.

   

  The other point is I wonder how many of those Lotus went home under there own power!!  :)  We could get a record for the most cars that drove to and from the event easily!!!
