[Miata] Mazda owners lose world record to Lotus owners

I seem to recall that the Pocono's Miata convention had over 600 cars. If
anyone still has the photo where Reverend Masse (I think that was his name)
married us to our cars, we could prove that we had more cars than the Lotus
record.

Two things come to mind.
I have been to Miata events, Pocono, Daytona, Texas, where we had parades of
more than 311 Miatas. I guess no one bothered to get them certified as a
World Record.
The other point is I wonder how many of those Lotus went home under there
own power!! :) We could get a record for the most cars that drove to and
from the event easily!!!
