On the subject of changing brake pads, I'm going to be switching from
whatever is currently on the car to Porterfield R4S pads.  Assuming my
rotors are in good shape, is it sufficient to clean them with a scrub pad
and some brake cleaner?

After the swap, I plan to bed them on a country road using the procedures on

Are those procedures sufficient / necessary for the Miata?
