  +++  Hie thee to a photo-supply house and glom onto a roll of "gaffer's tape." It's a fabric substrate -- very strong, flexible, and sticks like crazy. You should even be able get it in black. A bonus is you can use it for lots of other things in life. And, unlike many other kinds of tape that ooze, it lasts forever. I’ve had a 2-inch roll out in the garage for about 20 years and it's still serviceable.
