[Miata] Car won't start

The first question is how do you know plenty of battery power available??
Turning on the headlights is the normal way people do it but I have seen
batteries too weak to start the car light the headlights. Check it with a
meter during the starting sequence and see what the voltage really is.

Next thing to suspect is the ground connections and the connections at the
starter itself.

After that suspect the ignition switch.
