[Miata] Red Miata Down

Well that's well under the mileage life but I'm betting it's the original 
belt and after 16 years it's a little dried out and it failed!!!

Good news is the engine is non-interference so all you need to do is replace 
the belt, but I'd do cam seals, crank seal and WP too.
