[Miata] - Should I pull the motor?

Since the last few winters have been spent sorting out the suspension,
brakes and interior I was thinking about spending this winter doing such fun
things that are required at 210k miles. The short list of things that I
"need" to do are timing belt (and all the good things that go along with
that), new clutch (to hold up to the turbo that that is either going on this
winter on next depending on funding), and a limited slip rear end (because I
want one). Since the future plans include a ~12psi turbo (eventually) and
because the engine is getting a little tired I was thinking about pulling it
out and rebuilding it this winter go so it is easier to get to everything.
So, the question is this... Is it worth pulling the motor if I don't decide
to rebuild it or is it only worth it if I am going for a full rebuild.
