I noticed a lot of question about paying... why not simply get a
checking account with a bank that does online bill payment. Not a
reccomendation, but I have checking through Wachovia and have online
bill pay for free with the account.
I pay 90% of my bills this way. The payment comes from the account
automatically and is sent by Wachovia in the form of electronic transfer
(if the payee accepts that: credit cards, loans, etc) or Wachovia prints
and mails out a check on the date I specify and sends it to the payee.
This way, I can pay everything every month, and unlike the automated
draft thing, the people I am paying can not just suck money out of the
account.
Of the two options you have, I would go with 1 first and go to Il for a
bit, and if that doesn't work, try asking around to high end dealers and
people who deal in, own or work on collector cars (classics, exotics and
such) and see who they recommend for storage. Obviously someone storing
a Ferrari for a few months is not going to just put it in any storage
unit, so you may find some good ones that aren't going to rob you blind.
Just a thought.
Jeff
