[Miata] Whistle

WhistleIt whistles because it doesn't know how to sing the song.   :)

Seriously, the only thing I can think of is the plastic cover has a gap the air is getting under it.  Try wrapping the base to car gap with some tape and see if that solves the noise.  Then you can start figuring out how to fix it.  Might involve removing the mirror and replacing the plastic gasket under it to tighten up the tolerances.

  My drivers mirror has started to whistle.  Drives me crazy.  Seems it is the joint between the mirror and the base.  Took me a while to figure it out where the sound was coming from.  Nothing has changed, as far as I can tell, to cause this change.  Any one else ever heard this?  Any known fix?
