Look in your Yellow Pages for "Alternators & Generators
Auto Repairing". There is usually at least one in every
city. A friend who is an auto mechanic (specializes in
Hondas) says that rebuilts from parts houses have failed
many times causing him to do the job twice. Alternators from
the local rebuilder have always been reliable.
You're welcome.<G>

FYI, The Beck and Arnley remanned alt I ordered from
RockAuto.com has been great and it was fairly cheap (second
cheapest they currently sell at 147 + 65 core). I installed
it in last October with no problems.
But mine's a 99 and from what was discussed back
then it was likely the internal electronics that were fried
and I couldn't get a cheap local rebuild because of it (ie
didn't just need fresh mechanical parts).
