[Miata] ALTERNATOR

Hello All:
???? THis past?Friday my alternator went out or at least I think it is the alternator.? The battery charge indicator light came on and I had to "Jump" start my 1990 Miata five times just to get it back home?and in the garage.? Where is the best place to get a alternator?? New or Rebuilt?? How much can I expect to pay?? Thanks, for your prompt response.
