[Miata] 2 questions and regionalisms NMC

I think it's just a Southern CA thing.. I live in Northern CA (Sacramento, and I've lived in the Bay Area), and nobody here calls highways "The" highway number... I did live in Houston TX for 2 miserable years, and noticed that they do use "the" in front of the highway number.. so I think it's a southern thing.
