[Miata] miata brakes

My 94 m edition needs rear pads. Like my other cars, the fronts only need 2 
bolts taken off to take off the calipers & put in new pads. Several years 
ago, I tried my audi, but a special tool was needed to rotate the piston in 
to release the caliper on the rear brakes.    What is the procedure for the 
Miata. Does it need a special tool also?
