I kept the hub caps (99 mazda OEM alloy wheels) to my autocross wheels in a small carry-all in my trunk with several other items including a bottle of sunscreen for those blazing hot days on the autocross course.  I was dismayed to find that the sunscreen bottle leaked onto the caps and stripped the paint right off of them!  To think that we put that stuff on our bodies!
