Subject: Re: [Miata] speedo/tach accuracy
Speaking of which, I read a blurb in a GoMiata catalogue the
other day that recommended shifting ALWAYS at between
5-6,000 RPM. Does anyone do this except on the freeway or
racing? Or am I just getting old??

I don't unless I'm "getting on it", for casual
driving I've shifted before 4k for sure. There's nothing
wrong with it, the Miata responds well to it and it sounds
great with the exhaust on there now, I just don't do it
regularly.
But I'm a wuss :) I reserve most of the hard driving
for entrance/exit ramps when noone's near me - or some car
that believes it's quick is behind me :D
