I presume you're running in a PAXed class then, because the
Mini and Miata aren't in the same Stock class.  It's true,
the Mini has a ridiculously soft PAX in GS; I routinely win
our PAXed street tire class, except when a particular Mini
turns up - I can beat it by 0.5s on raw time yet get beaten
by 0.5 after the PAX is applied.

That said, I understand that the latest edition of Sportscar
mentions a proposal to move the new Mini S to DS next year,
and calls for member input.  Speak now or forever hold your
peace. :)

	Yeah, different class. Sorry I didn't clarify: I'm
just talking raw time. When I'm there that's what I focus in
on. I'm not point-competitive, this year I'm just focusing
on each event that I attend, trying to better my times,
comparing myself with all vehicles' raw times.
