[Miata] Replacing original brakes on a '90

[M Perro]

My Miata is a '90 with 33m miles and the original brakes that I need to replace. Car is not raced, but is driven spiritedly. Would like a good compromise of good braking, longevity and cost. Should I just go the OEM route or are there other better alternatives?
