You will never have that problem at a MAC event.  We don't allow numbers on the windshield.  ;-)

On both sides of the car, minimum eight inches high, similar to SCCA Solo rules.

Seriously, we had some rain roll in for the afternoon at our novice school a week ago. I rode shotgun on many a run that would have been impossible without wipers.

By the way, I have swapped the leaky clutch slave (that cheated me of more than half my instructor runs) for an Italian-made replacement from NAPA.  The Miata  runs fine, but i think the clutch point is a bit higher.  Maybe it's just my perception.  The clutch does not slip.
