I actually bought a lapel mic from Radio Shack (about $25) and wired  
it in under my rear bumper, and connected it to the camcorder, so it  
picked up more exhaust note than wind noise.  I'm happy with the  
results :)  Yeah, as far as the size of the video, I wanted to retain  
the 640x480 resolution, but it does end up making it a huge file  
(about 170mb).
