[Miata] Timing Belt Change Questions

I'm going to be changing the Timing Belt & Water Pump on my '99 in the next few weeks (80K). I got the kit from FM which has the front crank seal w/the seal set tool and cam seals. I'll also check the valve clearances while it's open, hopefully I won't need to hunt for shims. Anyway, what is the best way to change the cam seals? And after doing this job is it advisable to change the oil out?

Thanks,
