[Miata] clutch squeal - throwout brearing?

My Spec clutch (or rather, the bearing) chirps all the time. It's been doing it for about a year or so, in fact. I just don't want to have to pull the transmission to change it until I *have* to...

stop. One solution is some hard clutch abuse - that seems to make it
go away. It's funny, some people can make the clutch make noise while
others can't.
