[Miata] - Alternator Humming

It's probably the IAC unit next to the alternator.  Use a screwdriver as a stethoscope and "listen" to both and see.  The IAC hums, yes it's because it doesn't know the words.

  When I turn the car to the on position with the key but don't start the car I get an electrical humming noise from the alternator.  Any ideas?
