[Miata] Yay! Broke My Differential!

I think Roy has a 1.6.

- it would be cheaper to buy another, unbroken, differential than it would
be to repair the ring gear in yours. Flyin' Miata sells good open 1.6 diffs
for $100, I'm sure other salvage yards aren't far off that.
- to avoid the problem happening again, consider a 1.8 rear end. This is an
order of magnitude more expensive unless you either get lucky or are willing
to do a lot of hunting around. Again, FM sells the parts you need to install
a 1.8 LSD for $1050. An open diff would be cheaper.

- should you consider LSD? Maybe. How does the car get used?
