And when those stats drop to 5% I'll still design for a minimum of 1024x768
unless I'm targeting these users with archaic equipment, pour eyesight or a
client pays me to include this minority. 

 

Given most sites at database driven and compiled with templates, it's easy
enough to design a "basic" version of a website for these users, but time is
money.
