[DeTomaso] Front Fuel Cells - Talk to Junior or Bobby

  After I spoke to Dick Drenske about what it would take to modify and fabricate the front area of my Pantera to accomadate a minimum 20 gallon fuel cell for SilverState  I spoke to ATL about building one and the total cost would have been cost to $5 grand.  
   
  Junior Wilson had a 30+ gallon fuel cell on his race Pantera for ORR but he also had a full custom tube frame chassis. I think Bobby Byers built the same on Big Red that he ran a couple times at Silver State so if anyone is thinking about a big fuel cell talk to both Junior and Bobby about what you need to do.

I'd guess that if the hood is semi permanently attached at all 4 corners, there could be a substantial stiffening benefit, at least in the horizontal plane.
