One of my sets of Kinesis wheels have a sandblasted spokes
that draw more attention than the set of full polished wheels.
When I have that set of wheels on they tend to start more
conversations with the non pantera folk.

Gearing on the track can effect the car depending
on how the track is set up... with high horsepower
motors most tracks are only a two gear track
I know Greg Escahoff (spelling) has his car geared
down so he can use more gears.
I could hang with him in 2nd down the
back straight but watched him pull away
in 3rd gear.... then I changed my tire size
to a taller tire.... hence taller gearing... and
last year just watched him pull away in 2nd 
right away....  very noticable change for 1"
tire height change in my car.... gearing 
for a track can effect your times quite a bit.
