[DeTomaso] 2V heads

I think the 2v Aussi heads or the new Edlebrock heads are the hot ticket for
a street car. I have had the 2V closed chamber Aussi heads for several years
and I much preferred them to the 4V closed chamber heads that were in the
car. They do not have the 4000rpm kick 4V heads tend to have but rather more
linear HP/TQ. They are excellent for low to mid end TQ and HP, both nice for
hot street use. Pretty easy to get 350- 400 hp with them and they are very
good to 5500 with a Performer intake or you can choose to use a Weiand X
that will extend the RPM range 500 to 600 RPM and boost HP buy 20 to 30 HP.
The Performer pulls from idle to 5500, has a little smoother idle and has
better warm up characteristics. The X tends to stumble a little under 1500
but does out perform the Performer from 3500RPM on and does have the similar
4000rpm kick of the larger 4V heads.
