[DeTomaso] 2V heads

One advantage (assuming it's used correctly) is that the closed chamber
heads, having a much smaller combustion chamber than the open chamber, will
boost your compression ratio significantly. Not excessively, but
significantly. That alone will give you a little more oomph.

I changed a whole bunch of things all at the same time so I can't tell you
what the effect of the quench chamber heads would be alone. My engine will
rev happily and is still pulling strong when the rev limiter kicks in at
6500rpm. It would rev higher without that chip but I want the engine to
live. I don't believe that the rpms are due to the heads, but instead the
intake, cam, etc...

Does anyone have any experience with the Aussie closed chamber 2V heads?
What RPM are they good to? Is there much improvement over 4V heads in a
stock '73 engine.
  Thanks
  Mark
