[DeTomaso] Wilwood wobble?

I recently wrote about problems with Wilwood system sponginess. I had
problems with Vibration/shaking but it only occurred after 6 laps at a track
like Putnum Park. I traced the problem to carbon spotting on the rotors.
Changing to Performance friction pads (Z rated)and blanchard grinding rotors
solved the problem. Jim Wallace tried the Performance Friction pads and
still has the problem. I traced the sponginess to caliper flex of the
superlite II calipers. I have ordered the new 6 piston billet calipers and
will tell you if it solves the problem. If rotor hats were not correct I
would send them back. It is a quality and safety issue.
