Can the existing hub carriers be modified to include the Corvette bearings
and keep the original stub axle facing in relation to the drive axles? That

another study."
I just put an image of a cartoon model of my new production C-6 front
spindle,
with the C-6 hub carrier in place, on my site http://www.hemipanter.se/
click
"News".
This uppright is made from chromemolley sheet, welded together. It should be
a
perfect fit for the Pantera. However, not possible to mount on existing
A.arms,
But if doing such work it seems natural to uppgrade even the suspension to
date.
So, if there is an interest I could fabricate special built A-arms to fit
theese
upprights to the Pantera along with recomedation for wheel size and offset.
The only problem is that such thing will be quite expensive. I will show
what
the Corvette set-up looks like as soon as I have the work finisched.
Althrought
not of any use in a Pantera, the A-arm will be made from aircraft
wingprofiled
tubes, but it will probabley look amazing.
Whatever way we look at it, the Pantera is an old car, and especially the
front
is somewhat limited as fare as geometry is concerned. We are stuck with
A-arm
mounting ears and steering rack location that dont leave much of an
alternative to
relocate.
To be honest, I dont think such rebuild will justify the bill. But I dont
say no
doing it.
