The following URL describes a comparatively simple fixture for measuring the
torsional stiffness of a NASCAR chassis (or any chassis). Using a number of dial
indicators located at strategic points along the chassis can result in a map of the
deflections from the torsional load. Once the location and magnitude of the
deflections are known, then efficient stiffening cures can be implemented.
