Another source for thin wrenches are at the bargain
stores. I went to a Dollar General in my area and
bought a wrench set made in India that were thin.
Since it was a cheap set they skimped on the amount of
metal used and therefore they were thin. That wrench
set has been very handy, and has sufficient strength
for everything I have done with them. Another plus to
cheap wrenches is that I have no problem of using a
grinder or welder on them to make a special tool.
