Hi, several people wanted to know the price of the rebuild, so I included
the invoice and several wanted to know the time involved and Guy (pronounced
Gee) said he could rebuild them with a turn around time of several weeks to a
month. The other great aspect of this is the personalized service and the e

My pantera is a 71 that I have driven for 28 years, with the last 10 years
as a daily driver. The transaxle has never been worked on even though it has
been out of the car twice during engine rebuilds and then 2 years ago I
overfilled the case, don't ask how much it's too embarrassing, with 90 W lube
which caused it to leak around my output shaft and spray this oil on everything
in the engine bay. My father in law, who is a retired machinist with his own
shop, looked at the old roller bearing #403 and said it was wore, but not
severely, BUT HE SAID THIS TYPE OF BEARING WITH IT'S WEAR PATTERN HAS THE
POTENTIAL TO LET GO AT ANY TIME AND DESTROY ANYTHING IN ITS PATH.
