[DeTomaso] More "Emergency flasher"

There is one wire on the back of the flasher that lights the bulb in the
switch and doesn't do anything else. You can maybe find that one wire by
trial and error and remove it. Or (better but probably more painful) remove
the big ring on back of the hazard switch so you can gently pull it out far
enough through the dash to see all the connections. There should be a wire
connected to one end of a resistor on the back of the switch. The resistor
is supposed to drop the voltage to the bulb to dim it so it's not so
annoying. Disconnect that wire and the light should go out. If I remember
correctly everything else should still work OK, but check before reinserting
the switch in the dash.

When I start the engine my "Emergency flasher" button
stays lighted, always. This butten is in the "Off"
position [Pushed in]. How di I turn the light off,
but leave the flasher functioning when needed!?!
