  Shifting the event won't help....in last 15 years we've only had snow one year....Personally I hope it snows because I grew up in snow.....All the SoCal people are crying...

FWIW, this weekend is also the date for the Reno Air Races, and by long 
tradition, some witchcraft sends a cold front into the area on that particular 
weekend. So I suggest you ask the SS organizer to shift the event a week one way 
or the other- or hire your own weather-witch.... Good luck- J Deryke
