Thomas,
Clutch hasn't seen anything close to load....when I say it started to slip under load I am talking maybe 3500 R's max....Two weeks ago after the initial ;engine breakin I took it for a cruise. But noticed problem with getting Pantera in gear which only seemed to get worse until we changed master and clutch last week so yesterday was my first chance to drive the Pantera again so there are few street miles on the engine, clutch or flywheel.

After we installed the new master and slave cyl and drove it yesterday I noticed clutch starting to slip on acceleration ....immediately backed off....Engine hasn't dropped any oil (as of yesterday) but will check again tonight when I go home.....

Again, no problem getting gears...no grinding either.
Hope it is a temporary problem....will have Dick check adjustment and slave and clutch travel tomorrow.
  THANKS
  md

I think the new clutch needs to be babied a bit when new.

Centerforce said that one should not use full power the first few
hundred miles, but lots of stop and go. This would apparently mate the
surfaces properly so that they hold up properly later.

Cheers,
Thomas
